Berlin is a well planned city that you get lost easily. Every street is the same with the other. So you need a city plan before going there and work on it a lot. Trains are the easiest way of transport. It takes a few hours to understand the plan. Do not give up! I got lost lots of times but I survived ;) I can say one more thing, do not dare to walk everywhere. Take the trains, trams or buses.
Brandenburg Tor is one of the most well-known landmarks of the city. You can see lots of people taking photos in front of it. You will also see some people with a camera in their hands in your photos ;) You can buy some souvenirs to your friends or family. It will be very easy to find one because there are lots of souvenir shops around. Do not forget to take a river tour, but you need to take your own earphones. Because if you don't have, you will listen the guide in German all way long. Berliner Mauer is also another landmark of the city. It is very long and it has great graffiti works on it. You will enjoy walking in front of it. It is not near Brandenburg Tor. It is in Ostbahnhof. It is also important that if you study Berlin, "do" look at the border between the East and West Berlin. You can see that when you think that you are in the eastern side of the Berlin you will see that you are in the West Berlin, behind the wall. Study the city plan a lot! Berlin Zoologischer Garten (in the Tierpark) is one of the most popular zoo worldwide. You'll enjoy yourself a lot inside. You will see the cutest animal in the world, called Knut. Berlin Reichstag Building is a great building. You will see the magnificence of it when you go near. But you also need to go far from it to take the photo of it. About 100 meters maybe :) If you'd like to go into it, you need to take an appoinment before (Yes, it's not a joke)
